When I talk to people about what I believe is important, it is dominated by environmental issues. I often become quite discouraged as to the level of interest and passion regarding many of these issues, ranging from recycling to factory farming..... which makes me wonder where mankind is really headed. When I do happen across similar mindsets, the exchange of ideas and progress of pilot programs is quite exciting. Knowing that there are other people out there that do care, and do invest their time and energy is relieving and provides some sense of progress.

When it comes to our youth, I wonder how most will even survive in tomorrows world... knowing only computer games and social media doesnt set the framwork for survival. So where does present day issues that  need our attention, and their devotion to fruition exists.... I'm not sure.

But, as in almost all cases, there is evidence that some of our youth are on top, know more than the average educated person, and actually are doing something.  May I introduce to you, Mercedes, a 13 yr old young girl, living on the Caribbean island of Belize. 13 yrs of age, mind you... and just listen to the words that part her lips. I'm awed, as Im sure you will be too.

Where to find Mercedes and like minded children:

Whew! 3 weeks in the making, and still working on our new web presence, waiting for the IP redirect, and learning Twitter and Marketplace. SEO is the next hurdle.
Very excited about Marathon BioDiesel's future as the Monroe County Certified Recycler, and a system manufacturer for interested parties and investors.  Please check out the new site, and come back often as we plan on making full use of the social tools by keeping all of our friends, business partners, and curious seekers up to date with our progress.
